WHAT'S GOING ON..??

Maybe I don't know what is going on, but I get the impression I'm not the only one thinking that the spending frenzy the White House and Congress are in, will undoubtedly lead us to a catastrophic economic implosion and its dire consequences.

We are not only spending money we don't have, but pawning our country to a very powerful, potential adversary - China - and, can't believe it! the money printing presses have been working 24/7; a sure way to devaluate our currency. Big time!

What in the world will our children, grandchildren and beyond, have to do to repay this almost beyond imagination debt our government is creating, and they will inherit? Is America being demolished on purpose - like an old building - to build a new one that satisfies some pre-conceived agenda? I don't have answers to such disturbing questions. Just a profound concern and alarm. This unprecedented situation justifies it.

Transparent, accountable government is an oxymoron. Something is going on, and Congress, our elected Legislators, are - maybe unaware - being manipulated right into approving this unbridle squander. It is unconceivable for Congress to pass a bill without reading and seriously considering it; instead of flaunting the arrogance of hiring a speed reader to unintelligibly pretend to inform Congress what they are about to pass. Seems that our Legislators, (with a few laudable exceptions,) except for "pork" and earmarks,
couldn't care less. For many, "follow the leader" is the name of the game. Can we, the people, do anything about it?
We have one effective weapon: our votes. Let's say and mean it, in the next elections "I am nor going to take it anymore!" and clean house!
